Autumn, 2011. We have just completed a most amazing wedding season. We worked with friends old and new. Just about every one of our wonderful clients wished for something unique, one of a kind, in sync with their very own styling. We shall be sharing all. As I return to writing and posting, I must jump back in time, to catch up to present day-
-Emily and Michael wished for a green wedding at the Marin Art and Garden Center, on two fronts: the use of found and recycled containers; a design which family and friends could take home for years of enjoyment. As such, we coordinated antique silver plate serving pieces and vintage glass compotes, from my Sonoma County antique and second hand store travels, combined with live succulent plants, and created small wedding gardens. A few cymbidium orchids were picked into the designs for a bit of festive color. Our thanks to the Jennifer Paschal, Bruce Forrester Photography for sharing these joyous images, Michael Beachnau who coordinated the day’s wedding.
